ALL BARREN CORN COVER RATINGS

Georgette Heyer apparently disapproved very strongly of this first edition cover, but I quite like it. The mariposa (aka golden wattle) is important to the story, and while the girl on the cover isn’t quite my vision of the voluptuous Laura, this still holds true art deco appeal to me. Sorry, Georgette! A
