I really hate this one. It’s dull and doesn’t really make sense. Nice outfits on Beaumaris and Arabella, though. That blue velvet military-style day dress is gorgeous. Not that she wears anything like it in the book, of course. C-

It’s when Felix brings Arabella to her brother when he is broke and in hiding. Arabella thanks Leaky Peg for being so kind to her brother.
So – it makes perfect sense if one can read and understand the German description underneath the picture. Arabella’s dress for this scene is never mentioned in the novel – so the artist could let their imagination run free.
