On the upside, at least the woman on this cover might actually be a character in our story (not always the case with this particular format chosen back in the early 90s for a complete reissue of Heyer’s works). On the other hand, if it’s supposed to be Nell, she’s… older than we thought she was. Or meaner, anyway. C
