In 1946, Spanish publishing house Faure released a translated version of An Infamous Army — which they titled Lady Barbara — as the fourth book in their collection “Colección Baga. Very, very rare and very, very special, this is one of the earliest known translations of Heyer’s works, and for that this lovely gilded hardcover gets a solid A+.
