ALL AN INFAMOUS ARMY COVER RATINGS
There is really very little to be said about this one. As a Heinemann Pocket Edition, this is the spectacularly plain uniform cover given to all such releases, especially during the war years. Frankly, it’s just an honour that a Heyer book was selected to be part of the series, alongside the works of such luminaries as D. H. Lawrence, J. B. Priestly, W. Somerset Maugham and the like, and it is on this basis alone that I am awarding this otherwise unremarkable cover an A+.
